“Io mi chiamo Anna Mola e vi presento lo show dei pesci che saltano!”, così dice una registrazione fatta da mio padre. Avevo 4 anni e parlavo di questo gioco: si capiva già che nella vita mi sarei inventata qualcosa e non ho ancora smesso di farlo.
Sono cresciuta vicino alla campagna, sognando la grande città. Ho studiato e lavorato in una grande città, sognando di tornare alla campagna. Ora sto nel mezzo.
Ho studiato filosofia (non fare quella faccia) e poi formazione editoriale e photoediting, al C.F.P. Bauer. Ho fatto tanti lavori e ho collaborato a riviste cartacee e online.
Ora da free lance mi occupo di progetti legati alla fotografia e all’arte: organizzo mostre ed eventi, insegno storia della fotografia, scrivo testi e recensioni…

La fotografia per me è come una casa perché a casa ti senti sempre a tuo agio e poi, per quanto te ne allontani, a un certo punto ci devi tornare.
“My name is Anna Mola and I present you the show of jumping fish!”, this is what says a recording made by my father. I was 4 years old and I was talking about this game: it was already clear that in life I would have invented something and I have not stopped doing it yet.
I grew up close to the countryside, dreaming of the big city. I studied and worked in a big city, dreaming of returning to the country. Now I’m in the middle.
I have studied philosophy (don’t look at me like that) and then publishing training and photo editing, at CFP Bauer. I did a lot of jobs and I worked in paper and online magazines.
Now as freelancer, I’m involved in projects related to photography and art: I organize exhibitions and events, I teach history of photography, I write texts and reviews …
