Your Food: si torna a Trapani!

Una delle cose che preferisco di questo lavoro è quando mi permette di viaggiare, perchè viaggiare è conoscere, sperimentare.
Per la seconda volta torno a Trapani, ai Magazzini dell’Arte Contemporanea; questa volta per presentare la nuova mostra che ho curato: “Your Food“.

One of my favorite things about this job is when it let me travel, because traveling is learning, experimenting.
For the second time I go back to Trapani, at the Magazzini dell’Arte Contemporanea, this time in order to present the new exhibition which I curated “Your Food“.

Come al solito non entrerò troppo nel merito (cliccando sul titolo, potete comunque leggere tutti i dettagli). Sarà un’esposizione molto variegata, sia negli stili: dall’illustrazione più tradizionale, alla grafica, ai mix di tecniche. Risultato della molteplicità di Paesi da cui provengono gli artisti: Italia, Lituania, un’artista nata in Malesia e trasferita a Memphis, un’altra è cresciuta in Russia e ora vive a Bali.
Alcuni li conoscerò durante l’inaugurazione, altri sono troppo lontani per venire, ma ognuno di loro rappresenta  una cultura che arricchisce la mia e mi permette scoprire nuovi modi di approcciarsi alla creatività e a questo tema.
Se ho abbastanza stuzzicato – visto il titolo della mostra – la vostra curiosità e siete in zona, venite a conoscerci e a scoprire il nostro lavoro!

As usual, I will not enter into the merits of the exhibition (by clicking on the title, anyway, you can read all the details). It’ll be a show very diverse, in styles: from traditional illustration, to graphic design, to mix of different techniques. Result of the multiplicity of countries from which the artists come: Italy, Lithuania, an artist born in Malaysia and moved to Memphis, another one grew up in Russia and now lives in Bali.
I’ll meet some of them during the inauguration, other ones are too far away, but each of them represents a culture that enriches mine and allows me to discover new ways of approaching creativity and this issue.
